The game brings to a close another great season of action which once again organised by Emmet Leahy, Eoin Morrissey and the rest of the super staff in the school.
Special mention to réiteoir and senior player Kyle Peter's for his role in proceedings.
We are on the hunt for any garden benches or gazebos which are no longer needed or being used.
Also needed is a burco which may be lying around someone's shed.
Thanks to local historian Shay Hurley for coming along and giving our youngsters an insight into the history of Setanta and Cuchulain.
The kids then proceeded to act out the story on the playing fields afterward!
As part of the new 1916-2016 exhibition in the County Museum, Seamus Kennedy handed over his 2016 All-Ireland winning jersey to Marie McMahon to form part of the exhibit.
Congratulations to popular member Gavin Power and his new wife Emma Ryan and their recent nuptials from everyone in the club.
Luke Morrison gave a rousing rendition of Song for Ireland at the Scór competition in Monroe on Sunday and can be rightly proud of his performance.
While, Ben Murphy, Paul Maher, Caileann Morrison and Aaron Cagney topped the standings in the quiz section qualifying for the County Final.

Now that St.Patrick has tended to his business, the young hurlers will emerge from the indoor settings and return to green pastures this Saturday morning. The fun and games commences at 10am and all newcomers are more than welcome to come along.

We would like to wish key juvenile mentor Gerry Lawless a speedy recovery following a bout of illness. Hopefully Gerrys infectious enthusiasm will be sprinkled over our young hurlers in the not too distant future.

New members are always welcome to come along and join in the fun and games.

On Saturday 23rd February we shall be presenting medals to last year's winning teams along with our other juvenile groups with some special guests in attendance to present to the kids.
This evening will also double up as our registration day for 2019.
Membership is €70 for a family and €50 for a single subscription.

|2019 Senior County Championship Draw|
The draws for the 2019 Senior County Championship have taken place pitting us in a four team group of the Seamus Uí Riáin.
Clonakenny, J.K. Brackens and Cashel await our senior side which promises to be a tightly contest competiton
For the first time in years the South Divison claimed the Peadar Cummins trophy with some stirring displays against the Mid, West and North divisions. Central to the great performances were our own Darragh O Connor, Tadgh Sheehan and Thomas Charles. Well done lads on a great achievement.
Also well done to Sean O Meara and Jim Halpin who were involved with the team, both men were key factors in our intermediate side a few years back.

During the hustle and bustle of Saturdays U21 clash, our physio and all round legend Paula Kearns suffered a nasty injury following a completely accidental collision.
All in the club wish Paula a speedy recovery and no doubt she will be back in situ as the intregal part of the club that she is.
South U21A semi final replay confirmed for Wednesday 28th in Dr.Morris Park Thurles at 7:15pm.
Following the 2018 AGM, three new officers have been elected to the top table. Ger Deely Chairman, Brian Moynihan Secretary and David O Donnell as Treasurer. Best of luck to the three lads.

|U16 South Final|
Best of luck to our U16 team in Wednesdays South Final against the Swan. The game is in Cloneen with a 6pm throw in time.
The U16 South Final scheduled for tomorrow is postponed due to a bereavement. A confirmed re-fixture will be announced shortly.
Divisional hurling trials for boys born 2003(U15) and 2004(U14) will now take place on Sunday 22nd September.

The David Boland U8 tournament went of a treat on Saturday morning out in Monroe. Many thanks to the Boland family and Moyle Rovers for inviting us out and running a great event.
|A visit to Carrick|
he U6s had a run out down The Green in Carrick against the Swan on Saturday. Although the weather turned for the worse, the boys enjoyed themselves and the packet of crisps at the end sent them all home happy. Thanks to the Swan for having us and to Golly, Shane and Sean from bringing them down.
